Frequently asked questions
How are nested JSON objects converted?
They're flattened into dot-separated column names, so {"location": {"city": "London"}} becomes a location.city column. Arrays of simple values are joined with semicolons.
Can it turn dot columns back into nested JSON?
Yes — with 'Nest dot.columns' on, a location.city column becomes a nested object when converting CSV to JSON.
Is my data uploaded?
No. It runs entirely in your browser — nothing you paste or type is uploaded to our servers or stored.
