Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to everyone who uses Gigsouk Jobs (“Gigsouk”, “we”, “us”), whether you're looking for a job or hiring. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Gigsouk.

1. What Gigsouk is

Gigsouk is a job board. We list openings posted by employers and openings collected from public company career pages. Applications happen on the employer's own site or by email — we are not an employer, recruiter or staffing agency, and we are not a party to any hiring decision or employment relationship.

2. Accounts

• You sign in with a one-time code or link sent to your email. You're responsible for keeping access to that email account secure.
• Employers who post a job without signing in give us a work email; we create or link a Gigsouk account to that address and email a link to manage the post.
• You must give accurate information and be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.

3. For job seekers

• We don't guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete or still open. Always check details with the employer.
• Never pay anyone to apply for a job or to be “guaranteed” an interview. Please report suspicious listings to us.

4. For employers

• You are responsible for the jobs you post and must have the right to post them on behalf of the company named.
• Listings must be real, currently open roles. We don't accept listings that are misleading, discriminatory, unlawful, require payment from applicants, or are mainly advertising, multi-level marketing or recruitment for other boards.
• Every post is reviewed by our team before it goes live. We may edit formatting, ask for changes, decline a post, or remove it later if it breaks these terms.

5. Plans and payments

Posting a job on Gigsouk Jobs is currently free of charge: there are no fees, and each post is listed for 30 days after approval. Premium posts (US$29) will be a one-time price per post, not a subscription or monthly payment; each post stays live for 30 days. When they launch, prices will be shown before you pay, and payments will be processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record and may apply its own terms and taxes. We'll update these terms before any paid plan becomes available.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Gigsouk: no scraping or bulk downloading beyond normal browsing, no attempts to break or overload the service, no posting malware or spam, and no using the site to harass, deceive or collect people's data without permission.

7. Content and intellectual property

You keep ownership of what you submit (job posts, company details, logos). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, format and share it — including with job search engines such as Google for Jobs — for as long as it's listed. The Gigsouk name, logo and site design belong to us. Third-party company names and logos belong to their owners.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Gigsouk is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available but don't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that any post will produce a hire. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we'll note it on this page with a new date; continuing to use Gigsouk afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
