Direct Tax Analyst
- This position involves preparing accurate tax returns, developing tax-saving strategies, and ensuring timely
- payments. The Tax Accountant collaborates with internal teams and external auditors to support audits,
- minimize risks, and align the organization's financial strategies with tax requirements.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Working on Corporate Income Tax matters with the third-party tax consultants including filing
- of tax returns and finalization of Audits, Accounts, Documentation and MIS Reporting for US and
- international geographies
- Supervising all US and International tax compliance and submissions covering Corporate Tax,
- and withholding taxes
- Coordinate with the internal teams to gather information related to the quarterly and annual tax
- provisions
Support Internal and External audits
- Performs research activities on tax issue and have informed discussion with the tax consultant
- and advice the internal teams
- Good understanding of the applications on the NOLs for both state and federal taxes including
NOLs for acquired entities (M&A transactions)
Updates asset depreciation schedules for clients on a monthly to quarterly basis.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
Proven experience in tax accounting, compliance, and tax return preparation for US
Companies
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
