About
Uniswap Labs, founded in 2018 by Hayden Adams in New York, builds the leading decentralized exchange protocol and interfaces for Ethereum and EVM chains. Originating from the Uniswap v1 automated market maker, the Labs developed successive protocol versions including v2, v3 concentrated liquidity and v4 hooks, plus the Uniswap Wallet and UniswapX routing. Its interfaces route billions in monthly volume via smart order routing and aggregation while remaining non-custodial and audited. Headquartered in New York with a distributed team across the US, Uniswap Labs is backed by leading investors and steward of open-source protocol research. The company advances DeFi accessibility and governance via UNI. Expect a product-driven culture focused on mechanism design craft, security review and making self-custody swapping reliable for mainstream users.
