About
Saga, founded in 2022 by Rebecca Liao, Jin Kwon, Jacob McDorman and Bogdan Alexandrescu in San Francisco, is a modular Layer 1 protocol that allows developers to automatically deploy dedicated, high-performance 'Chainlets' on demand. Built for gaming, entertainment and scalable Web3 applications, Saga provides limitless horizontal scaling, predictable gas-free user experiences and automated validator security orchestration derived from Saga's mainnet validators. Headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area with a global collective, Saga is backed by leading venture funds and governed via the SAGA token. The culture prizes developer empowerment, modular architecture research and scaling web3 consumer ecosystems. Saga's automated validator orchestration enables developers to launch dedicated, high-performance Chainlets on demand with predictable gas-free user experiences and horizontal scaling.
