About
Phantom, founded in 2021 by Brandon Millman, Chris Kalani and Francesco Agosti in San Francisco, builds the leading self-custody wallet for Solana and multichain ecosystems. Originally a Solana-native browser extension, it now supports Ethereum, Polygon and Bitcoin with in-app staking, swaps, NFT management and Ledger integration, serving millions of users worldwide. Backed by leading investors including Paradigm and a16z, Phantom emphasizes approachable design that hides chain complexity behind fast, reliable UX. The wallet is non-custodial and security-audited, with phishing protection and transaction simulation. Headquartered in San Francisco with a remote-first team, Phantom iterates quickly on mobile and extension parity. Expect a product-driven culture focused on craft, user trust and making self-custody accessible to the next generation of crypto users today.
