About
Notabene, founded in 2020 by Pelle Brændgaard, Ania Lipinska and Andres Dupont with headquarters in New York, provides Travel Rule compliance infrastructure for crypto. Its platform, SafeTransact and dashboard, automates peer VASP discovery, secure data exchange and reconciliation that helps exchanges and wallets meet FATF Travel Rule obligations when transferring assets between institutions. Serving exchanges, custodians and banks across numerous jurisdictions, Notabene handles encrypted identity exchange, Sunrise assessments and reporting without exposing consumer data on-chain. Headquartered in New York with offices in Berlin and Lisbon, Notabene emphasizes interoperability, data privacy and regulator-ready audit trails. Backed by leading investors, it operates as SaaS rather than custody. Expect a compliance and privacy-focused culture that values secure data engineering, regulatory engagement and enabling institutions to transfer assets safely and compliantly.
