About
MoonPay, founded in 2019 in Miami by Ivan Soto-Wright and Victor Faramond with Maximilian Crown, provides crypto on-ramps and NFT checkout infrastructure used by hundreds of partners including wallets and marketplaces. Its widget handles cards, bank transfers and Apple Pay across many countries with know-your-customer and fraud tools that optimize conversion for consumer apps. The platform enables users to buy and sell crypto and collectibles without building payments compliance internally. Backed by leading investors including Tiger Global and Coatue, MoonPay emphasizes partner integration speed, checkout optimization and reliable settlement. Headquartered in Miami with hubs in London, New York and Lisbon and operations in many countries, the company values payments reliability, customer support and making crypto accessible at the point of purchase.
