About
Lightspark, founded in 2022 by David Marcus, former Meta Novi lead, with a senior team from Meta, in Los Angeles, builds enterprise infrastructure for Bitcoin's Lightning Network. Its platform, Lightspark Predict and Lightspark Connect, offers node management, liquidity automation, routing optimization and compliant wallet SDKs that let exchanges, neobanks and wallets send instant low-fee bitcoin payments without operating Lightning directly. Headquartered in Los Angeles with hubs in Austin and remote, Lightspark integrates with banking rails, stablecoin issuance and compliance tooling to bring programmable money to mainstream apps. Backed by leading investors, the team applies consumer-scale payments expertise to Bitcoin. Its tools integrate compliance, risk and reporting that let banks launch compliant Lightning wallets, streaming payments and enterprise treasury flows. Expect a product and infrastructure culture that values reliability, regulatory thoughtfulness and extending Bitcoin for everyday global payments.
