About
Grayscale, founded in 2013 in New York as a subsidiary of Digital Currency Group, is the world's largest crypto asset manager, offering regulated single-asset trusts and ETFs including GBTC (Bitcoin) and ETHE (Ethereum) alongside dozens of altcoin products. Managing tens of billions in AUM for institutions, advisors and retirement accounts, Grayscale won its landmark 2023 court case against the SEC that paved the way for US spot Bitcoin ETFs. Headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut with a New York presence, the firm emphasizes regulated access, custody with Coinbase, and institutional research. Expect a compliance-first asset management culture that values fiduciary rigor, regulatory engagement and expanding mainstream crypto allocation channels.
