About
ether.fi, founded in 2022 by Mike Silagadze, founder of Top Hat, and Rok Kopp with headquarters in Grand Cayman, operates a leading decentralized liquid restaking protocol on Ethereum. Its eETH and weETH tokens let users stake ether while retaining liquidity and earning EigenLayer restaking rewards plus native yield, secured through distributed validator technology. Governance is via ETHFI token, and the protocol emphasizes non-custodial design where stakers retain key control. Securing significant TVL across Ethereum, ether.fi is audited and backed by leading investors including Bullish and CoinFund. Headquartered with a distributed team across North America and Cayman, the project blends DeFi engineering with staking operations. Expect a security-conscious culture focused on validator reliability, transparent risk and expanding restaked yield opportunities for holders.
