About
Dune, founded in 2018 by Fredrik Haga and Mats Olsen in Oslo as Dune Analytics, provides the open blockchain analytics platform used by researchers and teams to query on-chain data. While the brand is often cited as Dune Analytics, the same team and product operate under Dune, offering SQL workspaces, dashboards, decoded tables and APIs across Ethereum, Solana, Polygon and dozens of chains without running nodes. The community has published open dashboards tracking DeFi, stablecoins and governance that are referenced widely by teams and media. Headquartered in Oslo with distributed hubs in New York and globally remote, Dune emphasizes data openness, collaborative forking and reliable pipelines. Expect a community-driven culture centered on data accuracy, documentation quality and empowering analysts to turn raw blocks into trusted intelligence for the ecosystem.
