About
Daylight, founded in 2022 by Kyle McCollom and Morley Zhi in New York, builds an onchain discovery API that helps wallets and apps surface personalized mints, claims and quests based on a user's address history. Former Stellar Development Foundation product and engineering directors, the founders created Daylight to power the home and discovery tabs of major wallets including Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask and Zerion. The platform aggregates opportunities across Ethereum and L2s, normalizing eligibility and transaction metadata for easy integration. Headquartered in Brooklyn with a distributed team, Daylight operates as embedded infrastructure rather than a consumer app, emphasizing data accuracy, indexing reliability and privacy-preserving personalization at scale. Backed by leading investors, it focuses on driving onchain activity for partners without requiring custody. Expect a lean, product-driven culture that values wallet UX craft, thoughtful data engineering and shipping useful discovery quickly.
