About
Bitcoin.com, founded in 2015 by Roger Ver and team after acquiring the domain in 2014, provides consumer wallet, news and education services centered on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. Its flagship non-custodial wallet supports Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and other assets with swaps, staking and learning rewards, while Bitcoin.com News delivers market coverage for retail audiences. Headquartered in Saint Kitts and Nevis with a globally distributed team, Bitcoin.com pioneered retail onboarding and merchant education for peer-to-peer electronic cash. The brand navigated community forks to focus on accessible self-custody and transparent fees rather than exchange custody. Serving a broad global retail base, it emphasizes approachable product and advocacy. Expect a consumer-focused culture that values self-custody education, straightforward UX and expanding practical cryptocurrency use for everyday payments.
