About
Across Protocol, developed since 2021 by Risk Labs (the team behind UMA Protocol) led by Hart Lambur and Allison Lu in New York, is one of Web3's fastest and most capital-efficient cross-chain intent bridges. Powered by an optimistic oracle verification mechanism and a network of competitive market makers (relayers), Across executes asset transfers across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base and Polygon in seconds with low fees and minimal slippage. Governed via the ACX token and audited by leading security firms, Across emphasizes mechanism design efficiency, oracle correctness and seamless omnichain liquidity settlement. Across Protocol provides intent-based cross-chain bridging across EVM Layer 2s, utilizing optimistic verification and relayer networks for sub-minute asset transfers.
